LECTURER/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PHILOSOPHY)
SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES
• 11 month fixed term appointment commencing 1 February 2013
• Salary range: Level A $59,832 - $81,194 p.a.
• Salary range: Level B $85,470 - $101,496 p.a.
• Closing date: Friday, 30 November 2012
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates in all areas of Philosophy for a teaching position for the 2013 academic year. The successful candidate must be able to contribute to teaching in the first year units ‘Justice and Contemporary Ethics’ and ‘God, Mind and Knowledge’, as well as two of the following level 2 and 3 units: ‘Philosophy of Mind’, ‘Meaning, Truth and Language’, ‘Philosophy of Science’, ‘Bioethics’, ‘Metaphysics’, ‘Logic’. The ability to contribute to other teaching programs, especially a language, within the School and Faculty will be well regarded. Applicants are requested to submit a teaching portfolio as part of their application.
