Registration & Abstract Submission can be completed consecutively. If you intend to submit an abstract in addition to registration, you should complete both the registration and abstract submission processes.

Submit an Abstract - now closed

Abstracts can be submitted for paper or poster presentations. Paper sessions will be live streamed. Contributed papers will be scheduled for 50 minutes, with approximately 30 mins for presentation and 20 minutes for discussion.

Posters will be uploaded to the conference site one week prior to the conference and dedicated poster Q&A sessions will be scheduled in the program. We also welcome proposals for author meets critics sessions and multi-author panel presentations. For author meets critics sessions and panel presentations, please contact the conference organisers with your proposal prior to submitting through the form below: conference@aap.org.au

Abstract length: 200 words

Abstract Submissions for Papers and Posters closed: Tuesday 24 May 2022 8.00pm AEST 

Accepted Abstracts will appear on the conference website. Please allow at least one week for review. Further, we accept no more than one paper from the same author or group of authors. 

Posters: If your abstract is accepted for a poster you will be advised of the upload process. Posters should be received by Tuesday 21 June 2021 8.00pm AEST. Technical guidelines for posters include: File Type PDF / File size ≤6 MB / Resolution 72 dpi / Orientation Landscape or Portrait / Maximum aspect ratio: 1:2 or 2:1).

Registration fees cover access to all features of the Whova online conference platform, recorded keynotes, live streaming, of presentations, chat, documents and poster archiving. Registration fees also go towards covering costs associated with building and delivering the program, registration management, IT licensing, and the provision of audiovisual support.

Concession rate is available to Postgraduates, retirees and those earning under $35,000 p.a (AUD). A discounted rate is available to Undergraduate students.

Cancellations, Refunds & Payment Rules:

1. Any delegate with an outstanding fee balance on June 20 will have their abstract removed from the program.

2. All registrations made on or after June 20 must be paid in full at the time of registration, unless a prior arrangement has been made.

3. Cancellations up to and including June 20 will be entitled to a full refund of the conference fee minus membership fee.

4. Cancellations made from June 21 up to and including June 27 will be entitled to a 50% refund of the conference fee minus membership fee.

5. Cancellations on or after June 28 will not receive any refund.
