The Australasian Association of Philosophy (AAP) offers several prizes on an annual basis:

• AAP Media Prize for the best philosophical piece published in the popular media in Australasia by a professional philosopher.
  
  
• AAP Media Professionals' Award for the best philosophical piece published in the popular media in Australasia by journalists and other media professionals.
  
  
• AJP Best Paper Award for the best paper published in the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.

The Media Prizes and AJP Best Paper Award are sponsored by Taylor and Francis, who publish the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
