Lecturer in Philosophy (level B)

The University of Sydney is now advertising for the position of Lecturer in Philosophy (Education Focus) (Level B)

The Discipline seeks applicants to teach into the new Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree.  

Key criteria:

• outstanding expertise in political philosophy, and ideally also in philosophy of economics or political science
• the ability to teach in these areas—both large introductory units of study and more specialised higher-level units—and supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students in their fields of speciality
• the ability to contribute to a diverse curriculum, with strengths in normative philosophy, metaphysics/epistemology/logic, and history of philosophy.
