End
07 Dec 2011
Location
University of Melbourne
Research Fellow: Climate Change and Social Justice
The Research Fellow will be employed on the Zero Carbon Australia (ZCA) & Social Equity research project, and will have a particular focus on how a transition to a zero carbon energy system will affect the already disadvantaged sectors of society. It will offer a detailed analysis of the ZCA plan in a social justice context. The research will be informed by national and international developments in relevant fields. It will engage with relevant community groups, non-government sectors, activists and academics in order to foster productive collaboration between the research and community sectors. The Research Fellow will be based at The University of Melbourne under the supervision of Dr Jeremy Moss at the Social Justice Initiative.
The Research Fellow will be expected to produce reports on the ethical issues associated with the research, and to work closely with Dr Moss and the ZCA research group.
