Position overview The school has particular research needs in Philosophy of Mind and/or Philosophy of Language; the Lecturer will contribute to the school's research strengths in those areas, and in particular to the Centre for Consciousness. He or she will also be a dynamic and entrepreneurial teacher who can offer courses that appeal to a wide range of our growing cohort of undergraduate students, such as (but not restricted to) philosophy of cognitive and social science, philosophy of technology, moral psychology, applied philosophy, analytical feminism, social epistemology, philosophy of race, introductory philosophy of science, and moral and political philosophy.
