2012 Australasian Philosophy Postgraduate Conference
Registration for this year's APPC is now open. Please visit our
conference website:
http://www.arts.auckland.ac.nz/appc
Registration is free for presenters and non-presenting attendees. All
attendees must register in advance through our website (presenters by
31 August 2012, non-presenters by 14 September 2012).
Limited funding is available to assist presenters who need to travel
from outside the New Zealand North Island (but from within New
Zealand, Australia, or Singapore). For details, please visit the
conference website.

Other academic events that we will offer:
## Q&A session on "How to Get Published in Philosophy" with the editor
of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Prof Stewart Candlish
(Western Australia).
## Session on "Ten Years in Ten Minutes: On the Caprices of Life After
PhD". Five renowned philosophers talk about (roughly) the first decade
after they finished their doctorates. Confirmed participants include
Prof Stephen Davies (Auckland) and Prof Rosalind Hursthouse
(Auckland).
