PhD Scholarship at Charles Sturt University, NSW, Australia

The School of Communication and Creative Industries (SCCI) at Charles Sturt University is offering an exciting opportunity for a fully-funded three year PhD Research Compact Funded Scholarship.

Scholarship Details
The 3-year scholarship is set at the same level as an Australian Postgraduate Award (currently $23,728) per year and is open to both Australian and International students ( http://www.csu.edu.au/international/why-csu).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to choose a specific topic of his or her interest in consultation with the supervisor of the project, Dr Edward H. Spence. The research to be undertaken will be in the combined disciplines of applied philosophy and applied ethics in the fields of Media and New Media, including the philosophy and/or ethics of Communication and Information Technologies.

Qualifications
Applicants will have obtained a relevant Honours degree or a Master?s degree by research with a strong component in philosophy and/or ethics.

The School of Communication and Creative Industries (SCCI), one of the leading centres of communication and media studies in Australia, is located in Bathurst, a lively inland city with close proximity to Sydney, in New South Wales, Australia ( http://www.visitbathurst.com.au/). Charles Sturt University is the host institution for the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE). Commencement Date
