The Centre for Moral Philosophy and Applied Ethics at Australian Catholic University is currently looking to fill two research positions (Job No:970580):

1/ A senior appointment at Academic Level D (Associate Professor) or Academic  Level E (Professor)
The level of appointment will be dependent on qualifications, research track record and experience.
The Directorship of the Centre may form part of the appointment.

2/ Research Fellow: Academic level B.

CAMPUS: The positions are based at ACU's Melbourne campus (Fitzroy)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, continuing. A period of probation may be attached to each of the positions.

AREA OF EXPERTISE: Any area/s of philosophical ethics.  Specialisation or competence in at least one area of applied ethics is preferred.

The Centre for Moral Philosophy and Applied Ethics is one of four research concentrations within the Institute for Religion and Critical Inquiry at the Australian Catholic University. The Institute, and the School of Philosophy, is part of the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy.
