Held annually since 1923, the 2022 Conference will be held Monday 4 - Thursday 7 July 2022, hosted by the School of Philosophy at the Australian National University.

The conference is designed to give professional philosophers and philosophy postgraduate students the opportunity to present and discuss papers in all areas of philosophy. Each year the conference attracts around 300 philosophers worldwide.

To enhance access and inclusion, and in light of continuing restrictions on international travel, the AAP will offer an online conference event outside of the in-person event times – dates and keynotes will be confirmed early in 2022. The in-person keynote presentations will be available at no additional cost to online participants, and participants who attend the in-person event will be able to access the online conference at no additional cost.

COVID-19 Notice: If circumstances demand, we will be able to move the in-person event to a fully online conference.

We welcome submissions in all areas of philosophy. Abstracts can be submitted for papers, author meets critics, and multi-author panel presentations. We look forward to an outstanding slate of keynote speakers, as well as talks from fantastic philosophers around the world.

Registrations will open in February 2022.
